Biomechanics of Golf: It’s Where We Shine
Our Performance Training Package offers the most complete process for assessing where you are and giving you the information, tools and support you need to dramatically improve your skills. During your first visit, you will complete your Golf Performance Profile. It’s an industry-unique assessment program that gives us with the information we need to understand your goals and to identify your body’s limitations and weaknesses as it relates to golf performance.
The Golf Performance Profile will eliminate guesswork in creating a golf-specific conditioning program. The profile consists of a medical history questionnaire, an orthopedic evaluation, a four-point performance imaging assessment, and a neuromuscular evaluation (MAT).
Getting to the Core of the MatterOur professional trainers will examine the results of your profile to create a golf-specific conditioning program that will meet your individual fitness needs and prepare you to play the best golf of your life.
The Four-Phase Performance Training Package is designed to address the biomechanical issues identified by the Golf Performance Profile. Each phase consists of 10 individual training sessions and has a specific purpose to insure your success in the training facility and on the golf course.
Phase I – Correcting the Muscles: Identifies and works to improve specific muscles that are contributing to joint restriction because the muscle is weak or unstable, or both.
Phase II – Creating Static/Dynamic Stability: Addresses core stabilization components specific to spine angle, range of motion and rotation.
Phase III – Strengthening: Addresses the core of the strength-training program by targeting stability, center of gravity, balance and sequence of movement.
Phase IV – Building Power: Applies the dynamics of Phases II & III in sequencing the power-producing muscles to optimize club-head speed for maximum distance and accuracy.
